Anna George Kaufman, Psy.D.
Dr. Kaufman is a licensed psychologist and founder of ECBH. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Virginia Tech and doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University. Her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship were completed at The Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Prior to starting ECBH, Dr. Kaufman worked for over 10 years at Johns Hopkins in the Pediatric Medical Psychology Program. There she specialized in child and adolescent mood and behavioral disorders, psycho-oncology, and helping families manage chronic and acute medical conditions.

Initial Evaluation
All new patients will complete an initial evaluation appointment. The purpose of this visit is to provide assessment of current concerns and set goals for treatment.

Therapy Sessions
Therapy sessions may occur online or in-person. Typically, meetings are 45 minutes occurring weekly or bi-weekly. Session frequency and duration may be altered depending on individual needs.

Brief Consultation
Consultation may be offered to help promote the needs of children and families in their community. This may include meetings with schools, medical teams, care providers, and coaches.
